About This Series

I'm Traveler, a former test engineer at a cryptocurrency exchange, where I was responsible for testing the core matching engine.

This series is a technical retrospective of my career: load-testing the matching engine to 110,000 TPS, uncovering system-level bugs, testing fund security, and the journey from the home renovation industry to this hardcore field.

The reason I'm writing it down is simple: the hard-won lessons from working on systems where real money is on the line deserve to be recorded and shared.
